How it works
What’s new
What changed in each release, newest first. The site is on version 1.0.0.
1.0.0November 5, 2026
A new home page with your favorites on top, a Feedback button in every game, Contract Rummy for phones, and What's new.
New
- How it works: A What’s new page tells you what changed in each release, newest first, linked at the bottom of the home page. Try it
- Dailies: A link to the Dailies page shared in a message shows its own picture.
- Home page: Star a game to keep it at the top of your list. Try it
- Home page: Type a few letters in Find a game to jump straight to it. Try it
- Every game: A Feedback button at the top right of every screen, so you can tell David what’s working, what isn’t, or what you’d like, right from the game. Try it
- Every game: Feedback shows what it sends with your words (the game, where you were, your device), and you can include a picture of the screen.
Better
- Every game: Pages load faster, especially on phones. The home page is about a sixth of the size it was.
- Home Screen app: Installing Unnecessary Obstacles from Chrome, on a computer or an Android phone, now shows screenshots first, and on Android a long press on its icon offers Today’s dailies.
- Home page: Every game now fits on one page, grouped by kind, so the one you want is a tap or two away. Try it
- Home page: The links at the bottom of the page all look alike and are underlined, so it’s clear they go somewhere. Try it
- Contract Rummy: On a phone, every player now has their own box down the screen, with their cards left and score always readable, and their melds once they’re down. Try it
- Card games: X discards in every card game now, the same as in Contract Rummy (Euchre’s dealer used D). Try it
- Michigan Rummy: You can play on someone else’s meld once you’ve laid down a meld of your own, or when you go out all at once. Try it
- How it works: The guide’s front page opens about four times faster on a phone.
- Galaxies: Drag with the line tool to draw several lines in one go, along the lines or across them. Try it
- Fillomino: With Lines on, drag along the lines too, not just across them, to draw several in one go. Try it
- Every game: You don’t need an account to send feedback anymore. Add your name if you’d like.
- Solitaire: On a phone, the bar shows the game’s name, “Klondike”, in full. Try it
- Sixty-Six: Each trick and marriage flashes the points it won, so it’s easier to keep count in your head. Try it
- Michigan Rummy: On a phone, every player has their own box down the screen, with their melds big enough to read. Try it
- Michigan Rails: The map zooms smoothly and moves feel quicker, especially on a phone. Try it
